Coming up in the  month of April is when Jenison Global’s accounting department will be taking taxes out of the employee pay. In  September of 2016 the employees filled out a W4 form and it now sits in their file for them to look back on If they ever need to. This April all of the employees will receive their W2 forms and see how much they got back in taxes. Every month  the company employees  purchase what they will need for the next month to come. For example, they need to pay rent, pay for food, insurance, cable, etc.

Also, for this new month the Marketing department is sprucing up the Jenison Global website to make it have a more Spring feel to it. The employees are finding new merchandise to sell and new ways to draw in customers. When employees purchase merchandise off of the VEI website and other company’s websites there is a special note that the Chief Financial Officer made in September that thanks them for their service and states what our company is all about and what we sell.

The Digital Media department is  working on the end of the year video that will be placed on the site to show who was a part of this company.

At the end of the month, the staff will start working on a Professional Development to present in front of the whole staff.

The main thing coming up in the month of April is the W2 forms with all of the taxes on it. Once the employees receive those, they will go into their file and stay there until the end of the year. It really helps the Human Resources department when everything is filed in the correct staff folder.

Employee Meeting. On the 27th of March we had an employee meeting. Our sales goals were not quite met. Our internal sales were phenomenal but our external sales goal was not met. Please remember to attach our message and fill in your information to try to gain more customers. Also remember to check out new firms to expand the number of people seeing the message.

Advertisements

WE HAVE ADVERTISEMENTS RUNNING! Thats right. We have contacted Spire and we have an ad that is running on the main VEI page. Hopefully with this advertisement we can increase sales and grow our company.

Social Media

We have FOLLOWERS! On our Instagram we have over  100 followers and we are nearing 50 followers on twitter. The communications associate Jared DeWitt met with Mr.Hunt on Thursday April 13. Together a decision was made to cut facebook from our social media sources. Factors to this decision included a hassle to logging in to the account, the account not being easily accessible to our customers(It was only viewable on the maps tab when you searched jenison global on facebook), and facebook not being the primary social media to reach our customers.

As the school year is coming to an end  in the month of May, many things need to be done. The company needs to meet the requirements for selling merchandise externally.  The employees are getting ready to shut down the company until the new school year comes back in September of 2017.  There’s a lot that needs to be before Jenison Global closes in a couple weeks. This April all of the employees filled out their 1040 tax form and then implemented it on to the VEI website. Also coming up in May is when the employees are required to do one more Professional Development and present it to the company.

Closing down will be a slow process because the employees have to get the company ready to start right back up with the next round of employees coming in. The Human Resources department is in charge of all of the job descriptions that will be available next year. We hope to see the company grow in the next couple years and not be in debt. Hopefully in May the company can meet their sales goals and then be able to close the company down in June without any problems.

The biggest hope is getting next years employees right into the company without having to set up anything and get the comp-any started right away. Another hope is that the employees are successful in everything including sales.
